Following on from my previous post of what we accomplished last year, I’m now going to have a look at this year and what our current plans are.

We all know that this year is going to be tough in economic terms, and some experts have tipped that where the large agencies will be cutting back, freelancers and small studios like ours will gain. People will be more careful with their money and will aim to itemise parts of the production process, instead of going to a renowned agency and slamming a load of dosh on the table to get the complete package.
I feel we need to focus on our core competence, and for skysoclear that is web design. Yes, we do other stuff as well, but we love web design and I’d like to see us get known for that over our other complementary services. I’ll certainly be paying more attention to SEO this year, as well as promotion of the business through networking, and other avenues.
Beyond that I can’t give anymore details, but we’ll continue to work with our clients on their projects and even roll out a couple of our own. We’ve played it safe so far and I think it’s time to be a bit more adventurous and take some risks, especially in the current economic climate.
2009 will be a big year for us and I hope it is for you two. Why not tell us about what you’ve got planned in the comments or contact us.
Don’t forget to keep up with more updates on Twitter as well as our blog.
