We charge $75 USD per hour and have been thinking about increasing our rates. But for 2010 I think they will stay put. The only thing we will do on a project cost basis anymore is what we call semi custom websites. Basically we take one of our templates and modify it slightly to the client's needs (within reason). Project based pricing was causing us to lose our shirts with no clearly defined requirements or differing expectations. This way we can give regular updates and keep the client informed of where we are in our hours. And they get to benefit from our expertise in the area of ExpressionEngine. We charge £60ph or £420pd.
